Am waiting for my honey to wake up b4 we both head to my grandma's house for dinner. Meanwhile, i shall blog a short entry about today! =D

Woke up at 7am this morning as i had tutorial at 10am. Made it a point to wake up 1 hour earlier (b4 i leave the house) so i can have breakfast. But don't know why i feel hungrier after breakfast and i end up having gastrict. Like yesterday, i had terrible gastrict from morning till evening despite eating nuggets and 8 har gaos for tea. Couldnt stop farting too. haha. My mom says that if you fart alot, it means ur hungry. In other words, i was like a farting machine yesterday. To make things worse, i got 10-15 mosquito bites on my legs after clearing my the dim sum stall. Great~

Stats tutorial today was pretty okie. I thank god the tutor didnt call me to present any of the questions as i had problems d/l phstat2 and hence, couldn't use excel to draw my graphs. Surprisingly, majority of the students there also had difficulty d/l phstat2 and so, didnt complete their tutorial just like me. =D
Went for management science tutorial after that. Didnt even do a single qs for this tutorial. Intended to do it over the weekend but one glance at the first question made me think twice about attempting it. Seriosly, i find it a major waste of time to stare blankly at a qs which ur not able to solve and then realising that one hour has past. Super unproductive. I dont like. -bleahz-
Tutor gave out the solutions for the tutorial and i think im in deep shit. Its not that i suck at algebra or what, its just that i don't understand what's the logic to management science. ArrGh... Need kenny and jun long to tutor me le...BOO~
Honey came to school to meet me for lunch after that. Decided to lunch some place else other than the usual Amoy Street which we have been frequenting for the past 2-3 weeks. Headed to the nearby Ghim Mo Market for lunch. Lotsa nasi lemak, prawn mee and lor mee stalls there. I even saw my fave peanut pancakes from Maxwell! Settled for prawn mee while my honey had lor mee. Food so-so only but enough to satisfy my craving for prawn mee.
Went to MOE for a while as my honey wanted to collect his o'level cert dated a few years back. Surpringly, they still store it in their system. haha
As FNA lect only starts at 2pm and we still have 1 more hour to waste away, honey decided to ride me to holland village. Directed him to one of my fave italian restaurants. Da Paolo! I love the pizza at Da Paolo Pizza Bar! Its really original italian. They also have a cake/pizza bakery called Da Paolo Gastromania. Dont think i spelled it correctly but its just down the slope from the pizza bar. They have lotsa fanciful cakes that cost 7 bucks a box, pizzas that cost 6 bucks a slice, muffins, cupcakes, bread and many more! Settled for a hazelnut cake which tasted really superb. The cream had a strong hazelnut taste and the crushed hazelnut in between the layers was what made it taste so GOOD. Taste best when chilled. Shall go for the hazelnut praline mousse next time. =D

Am in LT11 now having HISTORY Lect. One word to describe it. Sianzation. and today's lecture is on the decolonization and the politics of nation building in Singapore and Malaya. The first slide showing a picture of david marshall is oredi enough to put me to sleep. ZzZZz... Shall leave lect during break time to help kenny out at the dim sum stall. Its Bizad's food fiesta fair this week you see. Lotsa food here. They have lotsa cakes, pastries and brownie from Cedele bakery. Ramly burgers, satays, tako pachi, sausages, prata and even smelly tofu!!! Gosh. The whole LT is gonna STINK man. And the food is all very cheap. Like you can get 5 har gaos from the dim sum stall for only $1.50. Think i shall steal some later. hehehe.

I did something really unbelievable yesterday. I think you'l say i'm crazy if i were to tell you but that's me, when i want something, i'l go all out to get it. Well, i queued for two hours to buy donuts from The Donut Factory at Raffles City.



Time seemed to pass pretty fast for me. In fact in dint even feel like 2 hours but my honey seems to think otherwise. hahaha. Poor thing.. Guess this is the longest time i've spent queueing up for something. The second longest was queueing for bak chor mee at crawford lane and botak jones western food at ang mo kio. Time clocked : 1 hour 10 mins. But thank God the donuts are worth the queue.



We bought 6 donuts in all. No point queueing up for 2 hours and walk off with only 1 donut each right? Clockwise from the picture : Double chocolate (+ chocolate filling), lotus mocha, hazelnut milk chocolate, white heart strawberry (+ strawberry filling), dark peanut chocolate and peanut butter glazed (+ peanut butter filling). The fillings inside the respective donuts practically explodes when u bite into them. I love the dbl chocolate and peanut butter glazed! The white choco coating on the dbl chocolate donut is really good too. Melts in ur mouth and sticks to ur teeth. Yum~ And what makes The Donut Factory stand out from other donut outlets like munchy donuts or dunkin' donuts? Well, their donuts here are really soft and fluffy and you get it fresh from the oven! Its a die die must try and if you happen to queue, dont forget to buy some for me k? hahaha








Brought our 6 donuts to starbucks. Needed a drink to go with our donuts and more importantly, a seat to rest our aching feet. Honey ordered their signature hot chocolate. Nice. But after eating 6 donuts, drinking the hot chocolate made me feel like puking. Guess i was suffering from donut chocolate overdose oredi. I felt really full after sharing the 6 donuts with my honey but that's only HIGH TEA. haha. Chilled out at the esplanade and walked around marina square till about 7pm before heading off to changi village for dinner.

Told you im a big vermonster. Had to queue again for the popular nasi lemak but this is nothing compared to my 2 hour wait for donuts. I'm well trained oredi. haha. The nasi lemak is not bad. The fried chicken is nice and this is also the first time im eating sambal chili! In fact i quite like it, not very spicy and has a sweet taste to it. I love the ikan bilis too. Becoz the guy serving them gave very little ikan bilis (its so little u can count them. Really very miserable), we paid extra 50cents to add more ikan bilis. haha. The rice is what makes them so popular. It doesnt have a strong coconut taste (i hate coconut) and the rice grains are really fine and smooth. But according to my honey, he said the standard has dropped. Doesnt really affect me much la. As long as its edible, taste good and worth the wait, y not? Someday, i'l try the other stalls' nasi lemak to find out why this stall is so popular with singaporeans. Or izit maybe bcoz, like what the Sunday Times reported, "Singaporeans just wana be part of the majority", "kiasuism - dont wana miss out on anything."

Argh..i'm so hungry now.. but i had a big bowl of cereal in the morning, a cup of orange juice, yoghurt dessert, and i juz ate a ham and cheese sandwich. My grandma says i eat like a pregnant woman. i agree sometimes. But i cant help it, my stomach does its digestive job efficiently and hence, i get hungry easily. Imagine what happens if i accidentally ate an appetizer booster tablet. hurhurhur. Think you'l see a big fat pig the next morning.

Time flies when im in NUS. Time flies even faster when i spend time with my honey. One moment its tuesday and before you know it, its the end of the week and i have to go back HOME. BOO!

I've finally bought my textbooks. Just yesterday, i bought my management science text from the NUS forum at only 18 bucks! Bought my FNA, statistics and econs text from Alfeus at $60.10. Wanted to bargain somemore but 20 bucks for 1 text book is oredi damn cheap, considering the outside price to be 40 bucks? Skipped my nation building history lect to buy alfeus lunch as i made him wake up early to pass me the books by 12pm. heehee. But he rejected my treat and ended up buying me a drink instead. haha. After which, went to meet Jason at bedok to collect my driving booklet.

Attended my first tutorial of the semester on tues. It was held in a conference room located in some ulu part of biz fac. But i like it. If only all my tutorials are held in conference rooms and not seminar rooms. They kinda have an SMU teaching style "feel". Management sci tutorial was uber boring. But at least i have friends like Sutris, Jill and Suyi attending it with me. After tutorials, went to meet my honey for lunch! Honey specially went to katong mall in the morning to buy me the banana pie from the dona manis shop.



Its very nice! The crust is really very very nice and the bananas can make u go bananas over it. Its like eating goreng pisang. Kinda reminds me of BNJ's banana crumble but of course this is much nicer. Honey also went to raffles city in the morning to buy doughnuts from The Doughnut Factory.



But they only open at 12.30pm and even before they open, people were already queueing up to leave orders with the store. Amazing. Ate lunch at Amoy St again. This time i had my hakka Yong Tau Foo with zhu chang fen! Had durian ondeh ondeh also. Then went back to school for my most dreaded lecture. FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING. Cant believe that such a boring person like prof mak acty exist. Argh. and guess wad i had for dinner? Tissue Prata and cheese do sai from Little India. Went to mustafa after my driving lesson and yes, i got to drive on the main road. Its damn fun. =D

Woke up very early on wed morning for FNA tutorial. Dint meet any of my frenz at all but made a few friends here and there. Formed a project group with these 2 guys and one of them is very smart and has some accounting backgrd knowledge. Its both good and bad. Good becoz the presentation and project will be a breeze but bad coz i will look damn stupid and pathetic in the presence of an FNA genius like him. Honey came to school to meet me after that. It was M'sia outing day! haha. Ate like a vermonster. Had fish and chips ofr lunch. One slice of Chocolate Indulgence cake, White Chocolate Macadamia cake and an oreo cheese cake. All from Secret Recipe. Its very cheap! One slice costs only RM$5.50 which is only SGD$2.50! In sg u pay like $4.50-5.50 for 1 slice of cake. Think next time i'l buy back 1 whole cake. Cost only SGD$30 after conversion. Where to find such a good deal?
Reached Sg at 4pm. Napped for 3 hours before going out for dinner. Had Syed Alwi Hakka YTF and Satay! Nice Nice. Gonna try their wanton mee and pork ribs mee sometime soon.

Had my econs tutorial today. Tutor is some cheena lady who really cant teach for nuts. She's like talking to herself and she can spend 10 mins on one simple question! Doing the MCQs made me think back about the times when i was having econs tutorial with Ms Sarah Ee. I think she's a really good teacher, but scary though. haha. After tutorials, went to amoy st for lunch again. This time i had wanton mee from a stall next to the ondeh ondeh stall. It was recommended by some food critic from some food webby somewhere. haha. Long queue but its really worth the wait. For 3 bucks you get one big bowl of wanton soup with 10 wantons inside and a plate of noodles with fried wanton and lots and lots and lots of charsiew! The char siew is not thinly sliced like those typical ones served in coffee shops, in fact, she chops them on the spot and gives you chunks of it. As there were no more fried wantons left, she replaced them with fried fish instead. Nice too! The taste is great, the serving just right, and she's generous with the ingredients. As Carls' Jr says it, "SCREW THE DIET!" What more are you waiting for? Go check it out at amoy street now!

It’s a beautiful Sunday morning and the best thing about Sundays is I get to
go to church! Sundays are also days where I don’t have any intention of
logging onto IVLE, touch my tutorials, or do anything related to this 3
letter word – NUS. It’s also a day where I get to spend quality time with my
bed and family. =D

Had the intention of waking up at 7am this morning to go for a morning jog.
But when I opened my eyes to check the time, it was already 4 hours past
7am. Great. 2 weeks into my second semester in school and I felt that I
haven’t done anything PRODUCTIVE. I’ve been attending lectures faithfully
for the first week but leaving the lecture halls not understanding anything.
Either the lectures are too complex (like FNA) or I’m day dreaming abt
becoming Singapore’s next big entrepreneur. –bleahz- In fact, just 2 weeks
into 2007 and things haven’t been going my way. My hp got stolen, 2 ATM
machines decided to shut down on me, I suffered from a terrible hang over
and just yesterday, I tripped and bumped my knee on the stairs, leaving a
swell on my knee. Ouch* But nvm, good and much better days are bound to
come.

Right now, im really praying that my appeal to get back my original tutorial
slot for Econs will be successful. I was initially given the Thursday slot
but had to change it to the Friday slot as I wanted to appeal for my FNA to
be changed from weds to thurs. And now that my 2 lects for Fridays have
webcasts and the chances of appealing for a change in FNA tutorial slots are
very slim, I rather get back my original thurs slot for econs and let fri be
my off day. Complicated.

Just read the Sunday times and they were saying that doughnuts are soon
becoming the next big craze. I so totally agree! I’ve been craving for
doughnuts ever since 1 month ago and up till now, I haven’t eaten one. I
want to try the double chocolate glazed doughnuts from The Doughnut Factory
at Raffles City! Anyone kind enough to buy me a dozen? Haha. JK. Just one
and its enough to make me a happy princess for the rest of the day. =D

Im having a hang over now and the feeling is really TERRIBLE. I just wana die so badly. Dizzy + nauseous + headache. Tonight MOS. Am not gonna drink lest all the alcohol kills my brain cells. Puked and puked last nite. Puked this morning again. Its disgusting but it sure makes me feel better, especially when you know that you've puked out last nights' dinner and should be 5% less fat? whahahaha..okie..im crazy...i feel like puking again...

BOO~ I'm all alone at my honey's hse. Not forgetting his dad of cause. Think his mom shld be home any minute. Gonna go for my driving lessons later at 8pm and then its off to zouk!

The weather is super HOT today. Had fishball kway teow for lunch today. Then watched eragon and napped at honey's house. Just had dinner as well. Very early dinner i must say.

I hate CORS! I hate this system of tutorial balloting! Seems like i have no choice but to appeal for the thursday tutorial slot, 12-2pm, for FNA. BOO~

Am now chilling out at biz com lab 1. I've finally printed all my lecture notes and tutorials for the whole of week 1. Now that feng yi has taught me how to use the cashcard to print,which printer to connect to, the codes n bla bla bla, i find this printing process pretty interesting. Sort of helps me to kill time. Like rite now, im waiting for the bash comm mtg to start, which will only commence at 5.30pm. No choice but to go coz im their secretary and i have to take down minutes. BOO~ Spent 5 bucks printing all these shit stuff coz my stupid printer at home is still jammed. Apparently, my dad and i dont seem to wana do anything abt it. Lazy bums. Like father like daughter.

Just had FNA lecture just now. Damn borring. Dint understand a single thing. Each time i wana write notes, the prof just keeps going on and on and on and i just cant catch up! Turned off my lappy, dumped my hp into my bag and tried listening intently to every word the prof was saying but still dont understand anything. Argh! The more i listen, the more confused i become. I need a tutor for financial accounting!

Kenny frm bash comm just passed me a THICK stack of econs notes. Can tell he paid attention and studied real hard coz there're lotsa scribbles inside. Hopefully studying his notes will help me ace my econs exams. =D

Going to zouk tml. and then MOS for tertiary fling on thurs and maybe V-Bash with the Kaka people on sat. y i say maybe? Coz i will only go if MK buys a tix for me. hahahahaha

Some BITCH STOLE my handphone last Friday after management science lecture. I was so frigging pissed I almost cried. Was practically stoning and staring blankly into space during my econs lect, wondering why such people actually exist. How would you feel if someone stole UR phone? Its not a matter of “ oh man, there goes my 300 dollar phone” but rather the hassle of having to get back all ur lost contacts. Furthermore, Friday was 1 day to the PunkINus bash and I have many people who haven’t confirmed or might wana get bash tix from me. Seriously, without my handphone, I felt really helpless, like a handicap. Couldn’t contact my honey as to whr to meet me in sch so msn’ed eric to sms my honey for me. Thanks, if ur reading this. Haha

Left econs lecture during breakie. The aircon in LT16 was down and the heat inside made it hard for me to concentrate. Went to amoy street for lunch again. Was totally drenched from the heavy downpour. I had porridge from the same stall, the one whose you tiao tasted like cheese and still does, while honey had curry rice with lotsa dishes! Haha.. Was still a little hungry, so we bought ondeh-ondeh! Bought 3 original and 4 durian flavoured ones. The durian flavoured ones are really really good! They are super big and the durian practically oozes out nicely in your mouth! Its so good it makes you crave for durian. Yum~ After that, went back to school for bash comm. Meeting.

PunkINus! Reached St James Powerhouse at ard 2plus in the afternoon. Had to be there early as we had to conduct 2 dry-runs. 1 for the fashion show and band and another full dry-run for games. Powerhouse was frigging COLD! I was shivering all the way. Crowd started coming in at 8.30pm. Event went smoothly and according to Val, the bash was a success. Yipee~ Clubbed with honey, eric and frenz till abt 2am. This time the alcoholic drinks dint have any effect on me compared to the last time at Clake quay as I had supper at Vivo BK before drinking. Drank vodka cran and chivas greentea, which Gu Feng bought for me. So niceee. Haha. In fact, I spent a total of 12 hours at St James. 2pm to 2am. Gosh. Nice place, drinks are pretty cheap but music sucks big time. Trance?! Yucks. Shared a cab back to my honey’s place with eric. Hit the bed and zonked out at 4am.

Woke up at 2pm. Showered and had beehoon soup with lotsa veggies, prawns, fishballs, mushroom, cuttlefish and shredded chicken for brunch. Honey’s dad cooked for me. Told him not to cook too much for me but his little bit is still A LOT. Haha. Uncle also sewed back my slippers! I dint realize it until today when I noticed that the safety pin was gone. So nice of him. As today was his b-day, he gave us all a dinner treat at some Chinese restaurant just a few blocks away. Am quite full now. Haha. Today is the end of my diet week as well. Sort of la. Coz I’ve decided to make weekdays my diet days and on weekends, the wermonster will resume her normal eating style. Had a brownie from four leaves bakery today. Cost only 1.50 and its very nice! It’s a big piece, with a large hard choc coating and contains a generous serving of nuts inside! Very value for money. Chocolates always make my day. =D

I just realized I haven’t balloted for my tutorials! My printer is still jammed. Argh. Shall meet YG tml at central lib to print my notes. Ciaoz~

LT16 is so freaking HOT! feels like 28 degress in here, wonder if the air-con is even turned on. Having management science as my first lecture this morning. Gonna have Econs lect right after this. Means i'l be warming up the same seat in the same LT for 4 hours straight. So far, 50mins into the lecture and im about to doze off. All the prof's been talking about is basically about the overview of this course and some CRAPPY facts about himself. Like, his favourite movie is..... Jewel In The Palace. -_-! Now is breakie time and prof wants us to solve his sudoku puzzle. Anyone who can solve it in 10mins will get a buddha jump over the wall treat from him. haha.

Havent had anything since i woke up at 8.30am this morning. Only had a packet of vitasoy. Shall grab a sandwich from Edwards' later. Seems like im not the only one not paying attention while lecture is ongoing. So many people are online and we're chatting rubbish. YG is officially an ARTS student. haha.. congrats!

Still have so many bash tix to sell! argh..asked Doug to go but he said i must buy him 10 drinks? Great man.

Guess how many popiahs i had yesterday? 3!!! haha. Usually i eat 2 but when im with my honey, i always end up over eating. Guess i'l be a big fat vermonster in no time. The popiah is really good , so far, ive yet to find a popiah stall that serves better tasting popiah than this stall in TP Lor 7. Honey queued up for fishball noodles too but sadly, they were only left with meepok so juz bought a bowl of fishball soup. After that, went back to honey's house to chill and nap. Had dinner at his place and as usual, i helped to finish up the veggies for his mom. haha. Im a veggie queen.

Balloting for tutorial starts today. I hate balloting. Not because the chances of getting ur desired slot is 50/50 but rather because i always cant decide how to rank my tutorial slots. And we have 20 to rank! Should i chiong all my tutorials on tues and leave wed and thurs free or shld i space them out? Think i'l choose the latter coz i doubt i'l have any free day, especially with projects coming up. But thank goodness i only have 4 projects this year. =D and i have YG to help me with nation building. hehehe.

Prof is playing a super irritating song by crazy frog. NUS Business fac is really a madhouse...really.

Yet another boring day in school. Am having a breakie from stats lecture now. Feeling extremely sleepy. Overslept this morning. Supposed to get up at 7.20am but ended up waking up at 8.15am. Saw the clock and jumped right out of bed. Showered, dressed up, drank a cup of milk all in 20 mins. Super woman ehh. haha. Am gonna study my ass off this semester coz i really want my A's. Its not just a want, its a must to get them. God, i need a breakthrough~

FNA lecture today was extremely superbly BORING. The prof wasn’t entertaining, his slides were dull (black & white) and I dint understand the terms associated with financial accounting. Everything sounded so foreign. Guess accounting isn’t cut out for me.

Dint get to eat my popiah from toa payoh because of the rain. Ended up having lunch with my honey at Amoy Street again. Had fishball noodles from this teochew fishball noodle stall on the second floor. Everytime we’re there, there’s always a long line of people queueing up for it. So-so only leh. The fishballs not bad but wouldn’t say its that fantastic. Fishballs are handmade though but out of shape. Very flattened. Like roti-prata. Haha.

After lecture, took 197 back to honey’s house. Well, at least now I noe whr to alight shld I take this bus frm his place next time. Chilled at honey’s house a while b4 going out for dinner. Dined at Mr Bean’s Café at Prinsep Street. Had Caesar salad while honey had carbonara. I love carbonara but have been abstaining from it cause its cream based and cream based pastas are always high in fat content and calories. All things nice are always high in calories. BOO!

This week is my DIET week. And im dead serious about it. No more late night snacks. No more chocolates and ice-cream. No more desserts and that includes ondeh-ondeh. Haha. The vermonster is gonna go into hibernation for a couple of days. Will resume her duties as a true vermonster 1 week later. =Pp.

Am at Arts Faculty LT11 having Nation Building lect. Juz had Stats lect juz now. The lecturer is super bimbotic but none the less, entertaining. haha. Nation Building is so borrrringgg. Yawns! Lecturer juz annouced that we're gonna have a class test on the 14th of Feb from 6-8pm! A test on V-day? Argh!!

NUS net is not bad. Speed is fast and best of all, im able to blog and upload pictures. =D

Juz had a sandwich from biz canteen. Long time since i last ate it. Yummy~

School starts tommorow and that means having to endure another semester projects and more projects. The bidding process this time dint turn out to be such a hassle as compared to the previous semester’s. Last time, the number of bidders tend to outweigh the number of vacancies for that particular module. This time, it was completely different. In fact, I got all the 5 modules I wanted. =D Will be taking Financial Accounting, Stats, Managerial Economics, Management Science and an SS module – nation building.

My bro is still in the bathroom and he’s been there since 1 hour ago. And there’s this rule in my house that ONLY my bro should be the first person to on the internet modem. That means I’ve been left stranded in front of my comp since 10am , with no net access. And with no net access, I cant log into IVLE to print my lect notes and neither can I log into CORS to check my timetable for the week. Really have no idea what time my SS lect starts tml. Worse, I don’t even noe whr the venues are! Seriously, I dread having to travel from Tamp to Clementi more than having to wake up early to go to school. Argh. Tml’s Sccopies party at BNJ! Yeah~ Get to eat my fave peanutbutter cup. Hehe. Like im not fat enough. Hurhur.

I felt really uneasy yesterday. I don’t know why. There was just this sense of insecurity within me. Spent time with my family yesterday. Its been ages since I last did that. Guess God implanted that sudden urge to do so and im glad I did. =D Me, my aunt, uncle and Gm went to the new ikea and courts yesterday to buy a new washing machine for my Gm. Bought a hotdog bun and meatballs from Ikea too. Niceee. I don’t like Courts. Their lifts are so slow and stuffy. They even employ people to stay in the lift to control crowds. Like some lift-boy in hotels? Haha. But this stupid guy was damn rude and my family got really turned off by him. Couldn’t find a washing machine in courts. So we ended up going to this shop in Tamp Ave 4 which my mom recommended as prices there are cheap and affordable. And in less than 5 mins, my grandma and aunt saw one which they liked and bought it immediately. I thought I was the only impulsive buyer in my family. –bleahz-

Went for tea break after that. Uncle drove us to the Bedok Food Center at Simpang Bedok for famous cheng tng. Also order 2 plates of jiu he eng cai. Some dish with cuttlefish, kang kong, pineapples, cucumber tossed in chili and some rojak sauce topped with peanuts. Nice! Seriously, I’ve never heard of such a dish before nor seen anyone eating it. Im such a sua ku. And the uncle thought my uncle was my husband. So lameee.

Then we went to Ang Mo Kio to do some grocery shopping at NTUC Xtra. Its like a Giant Hypermart. Bought cereal, a big tub of NO-FAT blueberry yoghurt and some caramel corn chips imported from Japan. After that, we went to hunt for Botak Jones in Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 Blk 608. Got the address by calling 100. Asked my uncle at first where botak jones was located in AMK and guess what he replid? “ In one of the coffee shops.” -_-!!!

Coffee shop was very packed. Packed mainly by Botak Jones Customers. Its impressive. They have printed menus, staff walking around with walkie talkies and their staff are very friendly! And this is only an ordinary stall in an ordinary coffeeshop in an ordinary neighbourhood. In fact, there was this Chinese guy, think in his early 20s who kept teasing me. Each time he walked pass my table to serve food to the customers, he will purposely stop in front of me with the dish to lemmi check it out and see what it is. We waited for abt an hour before our food was served. Long but worth-it wait. We ordered a burger which came with 3 beef patties and melted cheese. The name says it all, “U-crazy-What?!” Burger. Haha. The beef is very nice! Very well-done. The meat has bite and its several notches up from anything you get at fast-food chains. Also ordered a ham sandwich with melted cheese. The ham is really nice! Can tell its super good quality ham. Tried their fish and chips too. Fries are so-so but the fish is really good! Its better than swensens. And all these for only 24 bucks. Cheap right? Their sausages are really huge ok and their chili dawg looks like a real big vermonster to me. They also have this tingy called Swanky Franky. Its HUGE. Its basically beef sausage wrapped with bacon, grilled and served with melted cheese on top. Well, next time I go there, me and my uncle are gonna conquer their sausages, Cajun chicken and turkey sandwich. It’l be better to have more people eating together so you can order a variety and try out different stuff on the menu. Botak Jones Rocks!

Had lunch at Sketches with my honey on tues (2nd Jan), What's interesting about this place is that you get to design ur own pasta for only $10.50! Mine is spaghetti with diced tomatoes, bacon, ham and baby clams tossed in aglio olio sauce. They were served with pine nuts too! and aglio olio always taste best when its ultra super duper spicy. Pasta was not bad but sadly, i couldnt find any baby clams in my pasta at all. There was very little bacon, compared to pasta mania's where the whole plate is still over-crowded with bacon even after i've finished the pasta. But overall, it was a niceeee lunch. =D

After that, we went to buy ondeh-ondeh from this shop recommended by some food critics. Its Kedai Kueh stall which can be found at the basement. Im having a BIG craze over ondeh-ondeh. Especially after watching the channel 8 9pm drama serial. Seeing the way Zhou Si Xing eats his fan shu dan, i really cant help but crave for more ondeh ondeh.


* Amoy Street Ondeh Ondeh *


Tried the ondeh ondeh at Amoy Street as well. In fact, their ondeh-ondeh is voted no.1 in Sg. Maxwell's ondeh ondeh is also not bad and they are very very sellable. When me and honey reached there, the auntie said to come back in 15 mins as they are not yet ready. So we chilled ard and went back only 10 mins later to check out the stall again and guess what? The auntie said the ondeh ondeh she juz cooked had sold out oredi. So darn fast!!! So we immediately placed orders with her first. Maxwell's ondeh ondeh is nice bcoz of its gula melaka. In my opinion la. Kedai Kueh's one is nice coz the ondeh ondeh skin is really soft but Amoy Streets' one is really different. Donno how to explain, you have to try them for urself to know. Its really niceee. I've already bought 20 ondeh ondeh's from this stall ever since i first tried it on wednesday. Its a guarantee die die must try. Stall is located on the second floor of amoy street food centre. Called SgKueh. There's another stall there that sells pretty good tasting ondeh ondeh too. Its further up and they specialise mainly in oyster pancakes. Go try it!
