BooHooHoo~ I FAILED my Final Theory Test. Kinda expected it caused i dint even touch the book at all. My honey failed too..whahahah =X Gonna re-take it again with him on the 15th of Feb. Registered for practical circuit lessons as well. My first lesson will be this coming saturday!! Yeah! I get to drive! haha

Got back my exam results for Sem 1. Its terrible. Please don't ask me how i fared and don't even bring up this topic, i'l go into depression. Argh. Jammed my last toe into the edge of my bedroom door. Hurt badly. Blood oozed out slowly. I was already in a foul mood after seeing my disastrous results and this had to happen. I felt like giving up, crying.
And to make matters worse, I had to force myself to sit for the FTT, which i expected myself to fail, and see the BIG FAIL word pop up in front of me.

How demoralising.

But seeing my honey made my day. =D

I’m finally back from Hong Kong. The 5 days 4 nights stay there is definitely an experience worth cherishing. Photos are only temporal but memories are everlasting. *Winks*

I loveee taking airplanes (minus the blocked ears)! I think pilots are hot~ and I’m considering being an air stewardess. =D Got 2 miniature bottles of baileys from an air stewardess too. Wanted to get a bottle of choc truffles flavored ice wine but after realizing it was in US dollars, we changed our minds. Haha. Reached HK airport at around 10.30am and that’s when our “cam-whoring” session began. Photos will be uploaded soon. Promise. =D

Day 1 in Hong Kong

Checked into the hotel at Tsim Sha Tsui. Dumped our belongings in the hotel room and went out to hunt for lunch. Went to the restaurant I went to the last time I came to HK. My honey had roasted duck rice while I had a bowl of century egg lean meat porridge. Ordered 2 cups of HK milk tea too. Their rice portion is humongous! I can even divide it into 3 portions – breakfast, lunch and dinner. Imagine the mountain of white rice. Seeing it already makes me feel full, much less eating it. After that, we roamed the streets of Tsim Sha Tsui and somehow, we managed to cover the area in 1 and a half days. And not forgetting my favourite egg tarts from this bakery along Cameron Street. The egg is so soft, the crust flakey, piping hot and fresh from the oven, just one bite makes me feel like I’m on cloud nine. My most favourite egg tart in Sg cant even beat it, much less crystal jade’s. Went to Mong Kok at night and had walnut paste and mango pudding for dessert. My honey bought a pair of adidas sneakers for his bro while I bought an adidas jacket for my bro. We’re such sweet siblings. Riteeee.

Day 2 in Hong Kong

Woke up early for DIM SUM Breakfast. Brought my honey to the dim sum restaurant in Yau Ma Tei. Their century egg lean meat porridge there rocks! Its like 100 times better than the best of the bestest best porridge in Singapore. We ordered har gao, xiao long bao, chang fen, siew mai, pan fried carrot cake n some chicken claws tingy. After Brunch, we headed to Causeway Bay. Went to times square and almost bought Royce chocs but found out from my aunt that those in Sg were much cheaper. Bought a cup of mango juice with mango sago and mango cubes inside from Hui Lao Shan. The popular mango dessert house in Hong Kong. Found Edison’s Juice Shop but my EVIL BF refuses to let me go up.Hmpf~ Went back to Tsim Sha Tsui after that. Bought a Chocolate cake and fruit tart from Maxim’s Bakery for tea. Rested our poor aching feet a while in the hotel room b4 heading to Temple Street. Had seafood there as well. Ordered steamed fish, scallops and vegetables. Their seafood there is super cheap. So just whack.

Day 3 in Hong Kong

Woke up late and so dint manage to have dim sum for breakfast. Walked into a restaurant nearby for brunch. I had fishball wanton noodles while my honey had roasted duck rice with fried egg again. According to my honey, the roasted duck rice here isn’t as good as compared to the one he had in Day 1. My noodles wasn’t so bad. Their fishballs are very tasty! Now I know why everyone says Hong Kong’s fishball noodles is a die die must try. You have to try it for urself to know. =P And as usual, I bought another egg tart. Had dinner at the restaurant we went to in Day 1 and ordered Yang zhou fried rice and a plate of veggies. Was still a little hungry so we bought snacks from a street stall. I bought fishballs dipped in some curry sauce while my honey bought some funny looking high in chlolestrol tingy. Think its pig’s intestines? Then we went to Central. Used the toilet in Ritz Carlton Hotel. Their toilets are uber grand and they have people to assist and serve you. I felt like a true princess for once. Cam-whored again at santa’s town b4 heading to The Peak. The queue was extremely long! I felt like I was in Australia’s theme park once again, queueing up for the roller coaster rides. But the queue was pretty fast moving as the peak tram could ferry large crowds. It was freezing at The Peak but the view was spectacular. We cam-whored again and managed to take a few snapshots of the fireworks display down at avenue of stars. Had 2 large fries and a chocolate fudge sundae at The Peak’s Burger King outlet. Eating ice-cream out in the cold night air (think its 10 degs) = SHIOK. In fact, I dint feel so cold after eating it. Think my honey cldnt take it so I helped him eat abit of his ice-cream. Yummy~ Went to The Peak Gallery to cam-whore again. This time we manage to get scarves. The scarves definitely helped to keep us warm, otherwise I would have turned into a block of ice. There was this shop that sold gelato as well. They had many lovely balloons in the shop and I was tempted to get a cup of hazelnut flavoured gelato but ended up, I dint.

Day 4 in Hong Kong

Woke up late AGAIN. Intended to get up at 8.30am so we could have dim sum for breakfast but don’t know why the alarm didn’t ring. Had brunch at the same restaurant again. My honey had yang zhou fried rice while I ate something really sinful. ROASTED DUCK + CHARSIEW RICE. Sinful but NICE. You hardly see any layers of fats on the roasted duck skin, unlike in Singapore where I always have a hard time trying to scrap the fats out. Hong Kong’s ducks skin is big and crunchy, 1 bite and the oil oozes out in ur mouth. Ummmm. Then I bought egg tarts again! This time I bought 2! It was meant for later in the evening as we intended to camp early at Avenue of stars to catch the Christmas fireworks. The fireworks display only starts at 8pm and we camped there at around 5 plus. Got a good corner spot. We bought somemore cakes and buns from a bakery nearby to feed our hungry stomachs. I only ate 1 egg tart caused my honey CRUSHED it with his big flabby ass. Argh!! Hahahaha. After the fireworks display, we roamed around aimlessly in Tsim Sha Tsui. All the roads were blocked and you could just walk freely on the streets like nobody’s business. The streets were flooded with people but surprisingly there wasn’t any human jam. People there were calm and moved in an orderly manner. We decided to walk down Granville Street again to see if there were any last minute Christmas sales. My honey got a pair of nike dunks while I got another egg tart from another shop. Haha. Also nice but not as nice as the one from the bakery. Went back to the hotel to relieve myself and put the shoes b4 heading out to the streets again. We wanted to see what people in Hong Kong will do when the clock strikes 12. Its more happening in Hong Kong actually. There are groups of carol singers, people selling balloons etc. You can practically feel the Christmas spirit. We got ourselves a Christmas hat from watsons to join in the festive mood. My honey stuffed his hat with toilet paper so that it stands. Attracting many curious stares. Hurhurhur. Then we saw a huge crowd gathering just outside our hotel and we decided to check it out. Once we got into the crowd, there was no turning back. Everyone was excited and looking forward to something but both me and my honey had no idea what was going to happen. We were just following blindly. Then we realized that everyone was rushing to the clock tower to see the clock strike 12. I thought there was going to be a fireworks display again but no, they only wanted to see the clock strike 12. So Lame. Ended up we had to walk a long way back to our hotel as the roads were blocked. Its like so near yet so far. I was so shagged I plonked on my bed and went straight to sleep.

Day 5 in Hong Kong (Christmas Day)

Forced ourselves to wake up early so that we could have dim sum for breakfast. Ordered mostly steamed stuff as my honey had cloked up arteries. Hahaha. Drank many cups of Chinese tea to wash away the oil. Our tour agent will only pick us up to drive us to the airport at 4.30pm. We had 5 hours to slack away. Walked around aimlessly again. Went to starbucks to chill. Ordered a choc frap. Bumped into some fortune teller guy who kept blabbering nonsense and insisted that we give him money. Told him we dint have anymore money and he asked for my honey’s credit card but its his misfortune to meet un-gullible people like us. He claims that his Indian God is dono what what what and I felt like telling him that My Jesus is far greater and more powerful than his Indian god. Thankfully he wasn’t some lunatic who will chase us down the street for money. Phew~ Thank God for his protection. =D

We had 3 more hours to slack away. Ta Bao’ed 8 egg tarts to bring back to Singapore. Went back to the same restaurant to chill again. Ordered Butter Bo Lo Baos and a cup of ice-lemon tea. Think the guy who works there can rmb us already, considering the fact that we are such frequent customers. Its one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Tsim Sha Tsui. The food is good, the portion is huge and its value for money. The service is great and the people there are really friendly.

Went back to the hotel to take a short nap at the main lobby. Security at the airport was extremely tight. Especially for United Airlines. We had to have our hand carry bags checked twice! I managed to get a window seat but my honey was allocated another seat 3 rows away from me. So disappointing. Asked the lady seating beside me to trade seats but she gave a strong firm NO! Stupid snobbish bitch.

Anyway...

Happy Belated Christmas to all with love from pamie the vermonster! =D

Watched Curse of the golden flower today. Jay Chou’s acting was mediocore but it was much better than when he acted in Initial D. I love archers. I think they’re so zai. Just like Legolas and that archer guy from battle of the wits. So smooth and swift. N Archers always win in battles. –bleahz-

I had Ya Kun Kaya toast for breakfast today! Had the kaya toast without butter and ordered eggs but I only ate the whites. Haha, im weird, I know. Gave my yolks to my honey and he ended up eating 4 yolks in 1 day! EAT EGGS FAT. Cholestrol = a form of steroids = Fats
Saw Samantha, my marketing tutor at ya kun too but doubt she knows me so dint sae Hi. Went to Mustafa after that to convert my sing to Hong Kong dollars. My honey found a cash card which contains 50++ bucks inside and so used it to make our purchases. Bought Hershey’s toffee almond chocolate nuggets and 2 boxes of ferrero roche which cost only 10.90 for 2! Loveee roche’s to bits and pieces but I loveeee neuhaus chocolates even more. =Pp

I feel so darn FAT. Havent got the chance to exercise. Not coz im lazy but coz the weather does not permit me to. Realised I’ve been consuming a lot of bread (carbs) lately. Had French loaf with grandma’s home cooked curry yest. My honey ate like a vermonster. LOL.Think my whole family was stunned as we’ve nv seen anyone eat SO MUCH rice b4. That portion is equivalent to the amount of rice I eat over the week. Then I just had bread for dinner. Bread bread bread and more bread.

Gonna have an early nite today. Need to be up at 3.30am tml morning. 10 more hours to my HK Flight!!! I wont be around for Christmas. So here’s wishing all my friends and people whom I don’t noe but read my blog an advanced Merry Christmas! God bless and don’t miss me! =X

Sunday, December 17, 2006

What an eventful Sunday it is. Woke up first thing in the morning to see dark threatening clouds outside my window. For a moment, i was wondering, "Where did the Sun go?" haha..sounds familiar? Had my usual breakfast cereal while watching Xiao Ding Dang. Its one of my fave childhood cartoons and when I heard the doraemon song play on TV, i immediately rushed from the dining table to the living room to watch the cat with no ears. hurhur.

After the show, my grandma dropped by to pass us some tang yuan she made specially for us in the morning. Such a doting grandma. Ate 6 rice balls, 3 peanut and 3 seasame balls, as I couldnt resist the temptations. Loveee tang yuans to bits and pieces. The one at bugis' Intercontinental hotel has nice red bean tang yuans served in delicious red bean soup. Red bean has nv been my fave and when I sae this is good, it really is good. =D

Then met my honey for lunch at city hall. Went to get the early bird tix for 3rd service first. We were issued tix with seat no's E21 and E22. That's uber front but its damn shiok. The sound system is like directly above you and you can see the pastor preaching right smack into ur face. Sorry honey but no chance for you to doze off. haha. Had a nice lunch at Millenia Walk's O'Briens Irish sandwich bar. Its so nice i dont mind the price. We ordered a chicken and bacon triple decker sandwich which came with coleslaw, tomatoes, lettuce, chicken mayo, bacon strips..n chips. They have the toastie version with cheddar too. Yum~ Then after tt light lunch, went back to suntec to eat New Zealand ice-cream!! Ordered walnut butterscotch and choc flavoured icecreams. and the best thing is it only cost 4.50! That's the price of a single BNJ Ice-cream scoop! But im not complaining. Y shld i? I get to eat free BNJ ice-cream in unlimited quantities anytime i want to. hehehehe.

Pastor Joshua preached today. I half guessed it coz second service ended extremely early today. In fact, his sermon onli lasted 30mins! Compared to Pastor Prince's which usually last for more than an hour. His sermon tdy was abt us being in the world but NOT of the world. To be in the world means to lust of the flesh(Self-effort), lust of the eyes(Not walking by faith) and pride of self (Self-confidence and trust in one's own intellect). See, i may be sucking a lollipop but im still attentive okie. bleahz.

After service, me and my honey went to EAT again. This time we had something more sinful. Carls' Jr Criss-cut Fries!!!! They rock. I loveee their beef chili cheese fries too. Then we had a choc-banana cake from Secret Recipe. Then we roamed around Marina Square b4 heading off to meet his family for dinner at some restaurant in Kallang. There were black peppered crabs, steamed fish, chili kang kong with squids, long beans, some honey chicken, "thousand layered" FAT meat and bean curd with minced meat. Nice nice. Eat until im so full but its a way to warm up for Hong Kong! 3 more days!!!! AHHhhhhhhhhHHHhH!!!

n the rain just keeps falling and falling and falling and never stops.

Sg's taxis are pathetic. They put themselves as on-call when they acty arent, hoping you would call for a cab and pocket ur 4 bucks booking fee. Y else do you think an available cab can suddenly appear right in front of you in less than 5 mins after you've made the booking call? These on-call fakers have been roaming ard the area pretending to be ON-CALL. And cabs who are really on-call shld put the red on-call sign on top of the cabs. Seeing a green lighted cab wheeze past you can get really infuriating. Waited for more than 30mins n i still wasnt able to board a stupid cab. So frigging pissed i swear rivers of corrupted waters almost came gushing out of my mouth at that point in time. But as a child of God, i noe better than to curse and swear. End up my honey rode me home. Poor Thing. haha. nvm, when i get my mini cooper, i shall drive you wherever you want to go kiez? heehee. But that's provided you dont grow SO FAT until you have difficulties squeezing into my mini cooper which fits only mini people like me! whahaha.

To me you are perfect
and my wasted heart will always love you

Fuck. My mom took leave on the 29th of dec and told me she's booked me for tt day to visit the dentist and go shopping with her. Dammit. Why must it be the 29th of all dates? It cld have been the 27th 28th 30th or 31st but y 29th?! Argh!!! It seems like problems are never ending. When one's resolved, another one automatically comes along. Could it be a test of our faith? That in the midst of all our problems, we trust that HE will deliver us out of all these obstacles. Yes, as a princess-for-jesus, I believe so but sometimes, i become so weak and vulnerable and feel that He is so far away from me. That's y i always look forward to going to church as it makes me feel like a born-again Christian. His love refreshes me and zaps me left right front centre back. I Love Jesus. I loveeee my honey too. *Wonders what he's doing now..must be sleepingggg as usual* PIG! Just like me. muahaha.

Came down with a slight fever yest. My legs were aching terribly and i had a splitting headache. The band, which seemed to be screaming rather than singing, at Ben & jerry's only served to make it worse. Thank God for Edmund. He came down ard 9 plus to help out together with uncle wee tiong..haha..he's a damn comical uncle. and silly me was fighting with Edmund to mop up the floor coz mopping can help u burn calories. hahahaha. and i dint eat any ice-cream and waffles yesterday!!! Somehow, i managed to resist the temptation of putting my hand into the dip case. Good Job Pam. =Pp Saw Jason and Zhi Jia as well. But no Si Wei. Hui shan was disappointed. muahahah.

Met my honey for breakfast at BK this morning. I loveeeee BK's breakfast! We got an extra pack of hashbrowns too and its for FREE! yea..BK rocks~ Was supposed to buy levi's jeans coz my honey's friend works there and cld offer us a 40% discount but ended up we didnt go. No $$$$$. hurhur. After breakfast, went to my honey;s house to CHILL. I took the train while my honey rode his bike coz he had only 1 helmet but surprisingly, i reached his place first. =Pp Slept through the rest of the day till 6pm before going down for dinner. Came down with a super duper high fever. At first, my temp was only 37.5 degs, then it rose to 39.7 degs after my nap and after dinner, it hit 40.7 degs!! and there is no more after tt coz the thermometer "dieded" on us. Guess all the heat from my body coz'ed the thermometer to spoil. LOL

My honey's so sweeeeet. Tt's y he's called honey. whahaha..so LAME. Told him to get me a bottle of honey lemon juice or barley but he acty went to buy a fresh lemon from the market and made his own DIY lemon juice with abit of added sugar syrup which i tot made the drink taste like Bengawan Solo's 9 layered rainbow cake. haha. and my honey bought me my fave sliced fish soup for dinner too. yumz. Then he sponged me as well. So sweeeet and caring ritee? Guess i wont be sleeping with aircon tonight coz Dr Alvis said no. haha. In fact, i was a very good girl today. I took the iniciative to take my antibiotics and other medicine which my mom begged me to take the last time i was ill but did not. Wana get well asap coz its only 5 days more to my HK trip! Yipee! Cant wait for that day to come. Hope Hong Kong snows. I noe it takes a miracle for that to happen but God, surely all things are possible? haha.

My fever has subsided. Bought 2 bottles of "herbal drink" tingy from the chinese medical shop. One is my most fave Honey Lemon and the other is sone ginseng chrysanthemum tea. Wanted to get the herbal tea coz i wanted to recover asap but it looked so black and black coloured drinks are bound to be bitter. -yucks- okie. I'm feeling a little drowsy rite now. shall have an early rest tonight. nite nite to all~

* choc-A-Lot Cake! *

Celebrated Alvis' mom's b-day yesterday. His dad gave us all a dinner treat at Swensens. Their birthday specials came with a buy-3-get-1-free-maincourse promo plus a free ice-cream. I had chicken baked rice while my honey had crayfish pasta! Dint noe ours wasnt a main course so we had an extra fish and chips as part of the free meal. Had fries and pizza too. I LOVE swensens fries! They remind me of our 04S301 outing with Irving at Pasir Ris Swensens. In fact, that was the time i fell in love with Swensens fries.

Reached bugis early as we wanted to leave the choc-a-lot cake with swensens first. Dint want auntie to see it as its meant to be a birthday surprise! BUT...Swensens refused to keep the cake for me. I can understand that no outside food is to be consumed within their premises but cant they juz keep the cake in the fridge? Lest the chocolate melts? Argh. Their reason--> "No non-halal food is allowed". So irritaing! I mean since when is there a PORK cake? Totally ruined my mood at that point in time but after that their manager or supervisor agreed to chill it for us.

Went tanning today with my honey. Tanned at tamp stadium coz i really like the Tampines Sun. haha.. dono y but i seem to be able to feel the intensity of the sun there. and i get tanned faster. Not CHAO-DA! Chilled out in the kiddy pool and played on the water slides. Damn fun. It was like relieving my childhood days. =D After that, we went to TM to eat my fave egg tarts! Then headed to marine parade to eat porridge. Out of all the porridge stalls i've tried, I think this is the BEST! Its yummilicious, priced reasonably and their you tiao rocks. haha. The stall is located next to Mr bean's soya bean stall. Shld be easy to locate coz i think its the only porridge stall in marine parade hawker centre. (The porridge at tiong bahru is also not bad but i think its not worth the price and they dont give you tiao. Porridge at chinatown also over-priced. Golden mile one also not bad but they dont cut the you tiao for you. So it gets abit messy.) And just 3 stalls away, there's this fruit juice drink stall that sells fantastic strawberry soursop juice! Die die must try! Bleahz.

Gonna cut my hair tml at some hair salon in Cathay. Janet said they're really good so me, jamie, stelli and janet herself decided to give it a try. Me and Jamie will be cutting bangs. whahaha..acty i oredi have bangs but i think they're super messy so hopefully this salon can tidy it up and do sth abt it. After that, its work time at Ben & Jerry's! Yeah! I love peanutbuttercup. Do come visit me at BNJ! I get bored and start binging on waffles and ice-cream when there are no customers. hurhur.

Argh. one two three four five six seven eight nine ten 11 12 13 14 argh! Pimples!! I hate them! Do i hate pimples or fats more? Both! i hate them both. Why did they have to exist? argh.Stupid pimples. They always affect my mood. PMS'ing. ciaoz~

The weather's killing me today! and im feeling so darn FAT! Am at my dear's house chilling out now. Will be walking to PS later to settle some HP matters with starhub. Dono y but he has been charged 15 bucks for downloading 60 bikini pics etc when he dint at all. And his phone has been bombarded by calls from unknown indians too. Then at ard 5pm, we'l be walking (again) to waterloo street to collect the choc-a-lot birthday cake we ordered from roomfordessert. Its his mom's birthday today and we're celebrating at swensens later in the evening. Hope she likes the surprise. =D

Exams are finally over and ive been rotting my life away. I wana go SHOPPING! But i've no money!! The issue always lies with $. arggghh. Saw a very nice Zara denim skirt yest at vivo which cost abt 59 bucks. Im gonna save for it. hehe. Will be going to hong kong in just a matter of 9 days! I really cant wait to experience winter there. Imagine 5 days without parents. Imagine being able to spend christmas overseas and best of all, with ur special love one =D

Happy Birthday to Alvis' Mom! Happy Wedding Anniversary to Auntie Keng and Uncle Kenny! Happy slacking everybody! =Pp i'm gonna shower now...ciaoz~
