I finally got to drink my fave alcoholic drink at Father Flanagen's! Its an irish pub in chijmes and they serve GREAT FOOD! My fave drink is called frozen black irish. It consist mainly of baileys, kahlua( some coffee liquer), vanilla ice-cream and a cherry for decor! hahaha. Acty, they removed this drink from the menu quite some time ago oredi. Not becoz its in low demand but rather the production cost of making that drink is way to expensive for them to gain any profit. Production cost wld be ard $34 as 1 shot of baileys cost 10 bucks. But de selling price is only $14! BIG LOSS!

But as i requested for that drink, the bar tender specially went to buy a tub of vanilla ice cream and made that drink specially for me. You cant find such nice ppl nowadays. As it was boxing day, we ordered food from their boxing day menu. It came with salmon, potato wedges, hash brown, grilled sausages, turkey, egg, veggies etc. Very well done! According to my uncle, this pub serves one of the best finger food. Fish and chips there is also yummilicious!

Went jogging today. Jogged 5 rounds at the tamp stadium. Then walked back home as fast as i cld as it was gonna rain. Feel so much better after a run. Its like i left my fats on the running track or sth. I feel good!

Did u guys watch the christmas programme "blessed Christmas" put up by my church yest? Tot the singers from church sang really well. Cld practically feel God's glory radiating from the TV screen. Awesome! Love the song Love's Come Down. Just realised today that it was written by my church's keyboardist. Talented babe. lol

Christmas service at the indoor stadium today was damn good. Stadium was so packed until ppl had to sit behind the stage. Pastor Prince interviewed Joscyln Yeo too. She was telling us abt how she got chicken pox n high fever 4 weeks b4 the SEA games and how she believed that somehow, God will take care of her. She listens to pastor prince's sermon like almost everyday b4 her SEA Games.God blessed her and enabled her to beat 2 world records which she set at the age of 20. She's quite a good speaker, has a very feminine voice, and quite lady like too. And her motto to those who aspire to be a top swimmer like her is "Trust God".

U noe how ppl spell christmas as X'mas sometimes? Acty, replacing Christ with X is like crossing out the actual meaning of christmas-christ is the reason for the season. After all, with Christ, Many Are Saved(MAS) and thats how u get Christ-M-A-S. Cool eh..that's what pastor joshua shared with us this morning. Tot it was kinda interesting, so decided to share it with you guys too! heehee. Merry Christmas everyone!

Argh!!! Trans fat accumulating in my body right now! Rain or shine, i must
go jogging tml. BURN calories BURN!

Guess what 3 girls (including me of coz) with small stomachs actually
ordered at east coast hawker center? We ordered $38-$40 worth of food!
1. 2 big coconuts
2. 15 sticks of chicken satay (They're really tender and juicy..nice!)
3. 10 chicken wings (Recommended by yummy king, the lime goes really well
with it)
4. 1 plate of stingray (lotsa chili! Very spicy..samo ate most of it though
haha)
5. 1 plate of $5 rojak (Not that great as most of the taupok n you tiao were
chao ta)
6. 1 plate of $5 satay beehoon (Highly recommended, their special peanut
sauce and cuttlefish is what makes it taste really good. But you'll have to
queue up for a very very very long time. Cant help it..the uncle is damn
slow..and i really mean SLOW)
7. err..think thats all..and i had popcorn chicken at 4pm. Sam consumed a
large bowl of lard while may2 had fish ole burger meal.

That's how much we ate. But we finished our mega feast at 7.56pm! So not too
bad coz dinner after 8pm will usually make you gain more weight. Had a great
work out b4 consuming all those yummy fatty food though. Walked from VJC all
the way to the hawker center. Damn far! It was like walking from one end of
east coast to the other end! But it was an enjoyable walk..saw a very cute
silky terrier along the way..sang lotsa songs by jay chou..the cockroach and
mice song n not forgetting our awful screaming versions of christmas carols.

Gonna have another outing on the 28th of dec! Its gonna be a food-craze
outing. From having bk breakfast to kboxing+set lunch to ben and jerry's at
suntec to wee nam kee chicken rice in novena to newton circus( hope they
have cheese prata..im craving for it) to chee kueh in tiong bahru and to
having durian + tang yuan at Chinatown! This is gonna be such a Blast! It
also means that i shall not consume anything with carbs/sugar/transfat 3
days b4 the 28th! Shall just survive on plain water..fruits..n muesli with
milk. Thats if i can survive on that alone. hahahaha

Had a really wonderful time with you guys today! All the laughing and
screaming sure made lotsa ppl thing we were either drunk or insane but
wtheck..we had fun dint we? Ace..u must try to take off k! and malee..must
make urself free on that day..maybe u can invite khairul over for ben and
jerry's! hahaha..5 more days till christmas! I really cant wait.

Dad brought me, my mom and my grandma for brunch at bedok today. Had some fried prawn dumpling noodle. Very nice and cheap. Then dad drove us to punggol to check out their HDB showflats. The houses there are nicely designed! Even the lift lobby looks so condo-style. and they have a roof garden on the 5th floor too! How cool is that. Drove ard for a little while and ended up in punggol beach. Its acty quite near the world war 2 site. Very clean beach..very breezy too. But we arent allowed to stroll along the beach as there are police coast guards guarding it..for wat reason i dont noe. Gonna go meet sam and maymay at orchard later. Hope to buy some stuff. The feeling just isnt right when you end up going home empty handed.and christmas is approaching too! Time to do some last min christmas shopping..esp with all the mega christams sales going on now. It sure feels good to give than to receive. Dont you think so? haha..ben and jerry's here i come!

Ohmigod...y am i so bloody careless! Maybe its not my fault? Maybe de prob lies with the box-a box with a loose lid. This is wad happened..my biotherm face moisturizer slipped out of the box and came crashing down onto the floor. It was a glass bottle and its damn expensive..maybe ard $40++? Pieces of glass were lying everywhere! I was like stunned. Didnt know what to do. I knew i had to get some tissue to wipe up the whole mess on the floor but dont noe y my legs just wouldnt budge. Left feet suddenly felt itchy and i looked down n saw blood! Was crossing my fingers and hoping that there werent any glass bits stuck in my bleeding leg...who wants to spend christmas with a stitched up leg? But thank god..my feet is perfectly fine..looks as beautiful as ever..hahahahaha! So maybe someone can buy me a new biotherm face moisturizer as a christmas gift? Its called aquasource-ultra cool hydrating water gel. =P

My legs are about to give way! Feeling extremely tired rite now. Went to the national library this morning to borrow a book. Was practically looking for books with nice front covers. After like 15mins, i finally found a book titled "The other side of the story" written by Marian Keys. Title may seem dull but the front cover is really pretty! n i just finished reading the first chap..nice! heehee

Walked around Bugis for a while. Went to 2 shops to try out some tops and skirts but they were either too short too tight or they made me look FAT. yes, the big fat ugly word. Saw this pair of shoes which looked really sweet and all that. Tried it on and it was really comfy! But when i saw the price tag, my eyes grew real big n i was like "OMG! 42 bucks for those shoes? They look like they cost $20!" Of coz i dint say it out loud la. haha. So ive got no new shoes and no new clothes. Only bought this mini bag thing from Accessories.

Went to tangs@orchard to buy somemore christmas tree decor. The silver star wire tingy i bought on mon werent long enuf to go round de christmas tree. It was like half done..so ugly..so went to buy 2 more packets. Bought some nice red silvery ribbons lined with gold to coil round the tree too! My christmas tree is gonna look so pretty! One day i shall take a pic of it n let u guys see it. =D

Right now, there're 2 job agencies helping me to scout for a temp job. Realised that its quite hard to get an admin job..esp if u do not have any office work experience. Am supposed to go to chinatown tml with yisi n frenz to try out their yummilicious dono-wat-name noodle. But my body n legs are aching! need a rest badly..so..decided not to go. Also, as i havent been running, i have to cut down on my food intake! Just had this sinful choc fudge brownie yest at taka. Its their number 1 best seller n its so so so nice! I shall learn to bake a brownie like that. One day.............

Had an awesome time in church today. Sermon was mainly abt the significance of the holy communion. Pastor also gave a detailed explaination about what it means to partake the holy communion worthily. This time, we had communion at de end of the service (unlike other times when we partook it right after praise n worship). I tell u, this is the first time i partook it with so much faith! These elements (de bread n wine) may look small, or some may be doubtful abt the miracles it can bring forth, but heck, to Jesus, what He did on the cross 2000 yrs ago sure means alot to Him.

Feel so bloated right now. Just had fish n chips n breaded mushrooms at Crawford Place. Waited 1 hr for it! So while waiting, we all shared a bowl of minced meat noodles (very nice+popular+n highly recommended!) hahaha..ordered a plate of rojak too. had to wait like 30mins for it. But it was good. =D Next week, im gonna go have dinner at Carl's Jr again! (its Carl's not cow's von) haha..den we'l have dessert at ben n jerry's ice cream parlour. Carbo+sugar=Fat! Have to go jogging tml oredi. No more procrastinating!

Its oredi december, Christmas is in 2weeks time, my hong kong trip is drawing closer and i still havent found a job! Why doesnt anyone wana hire me? Sent in my first job application to NCS on the 28th of Nov and i still havent received a call from them. Got a job form from PWC but they're only hiring for 1 mth..which is not good bcoz wat am i gonna do after that 1 mth? Emailed my CV to lotsa ppl yesterday n the day b4. They're mostly cust.svc/admin positions. Hopefully the company offering the best pay n located near my home will call first. =D Im praying that i'l get the job in NCS as they pay quite well but the sad thing is they're located in buona vista! (very far i noe)

YEA! christmas is coming! Doesnt it feels like winter? haha. Ive decided to bake brownies for christmas plus some choc coated strawberries. Wanted to try out this fried ice-cream recipe which i found on the net. Quite easy you noe..roll the icecream over smashed cornflakes..store in freezer for 1 day..then roll over some tempura flour i think..then fry it for 15 secs? then quickly eat it b4 it melts. Easy rite..James said he fried mars bars with ice cream b4..so if he can do it..maybe i can too? hahaha..sure will make a mess one..so better dont..hate to clean up.

My churchs' gonna put up a christmas programme titled "a blessed christmas" on christmas eve. 8pm on channel 5. There're lotsa celebreties involved including glenn n jamie. Do keep a look out for the advertisements! =D

Happy christmas shopping everyone!

Went to marina bay for a seafood steamboat/bbq buffet for the first time yesterday. It was a dinner gathering organised by dq as he's going for NS pretty soon. The food there was so so la..abit like seoul garden..just chinese style..haha..and the price is unbelievable too! Only 10 bucks per person! Imaging being able to eat all you want (like prawns crabs satay ice cream shraks fin soup n not forgetting lots n lots of fishballs) for only 10 bucks?! btw..no gst charged at all! hahaha

As we were damn full (stomachs bulging oredi), we decided to walk back to the mrt station. Marina bay is a super ulu place. Walked in this ulu-dark-with-lotsa-spider-webs park. Then we ended up in an even darker place..reminded me of the night walk in ltc camp..scary! Finally we found a staircase n yes..we found ourselves on the sidewalk of tanjong rhu's highway. Great. But the view overlooking the river/sea? was nice! Von said that that was the best place to threaten abt suicide. Guess u get to choose whether u wana die dry or wet. The wet way..jump down into the river/sea. The dry way..jump onto the highway n get hit by a car. von chooses the carbon monoxide way hahaha

That walk all the way to suntec sure helped us to lose most of the fats we consumed at the buffet. Was perspiring like mad. Especially when we were walking at an ultra fast speed as we needed a toilet badly to relieve our bursting bladders. Bcoz of james, i missed 30mins of america's next top model! But thank God i managed to watch kahlen's and naima's segment. So not too bad. =D

Trans fat. Fat that's worse than saturated fat! Dont wana gain any kilos? Wana slim down? then stay away from food which contain hydrogenated vegetable oil. That's trans fat! Disgustingly horrible and evil.

20 more days to christmas! I love christmas! Weather's so perfect, u receive lotsa christmas gifts n u get to experience the joy of giving too! There's lotsa food, champagne, parties, get togethers' blablabla. U get to sing christmas carols, set up the christmas tree n bake log cakes too! Families get together, church gets together for a christmas service (25th dec 10am indoor stadium, wana come? haha),one big happy family celebrating this joyous event, the feeling's just so warm n fuzzy, nice. =D After all, Christ is the reason for the season!
